On December 12, 1992, 43-year-old Barry Lee Ritter was aboard the fishing vessel, the Sea Castle, when a tragic event unfolded in Bucareli Bay, a remote and unforgiving body of water in Alaska's Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area. Barry, along with three children, vanished into the frigid waters after the vessel overturned.
