On a fall day in 1995, 37-year-old Gerald 'Moose' Jackson, Jr., a resident of the Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area in Alaska, embarked on a hunting trip on Prince of Wales Island. He was last seen on October 15th of that year. When he did not come back as expected, concerns grew for his safety in the vast and unforgiving Alaskan wilderness.
