I agree. The missing car is suspicious. The obvious conclusion would be that he crashed into a waterway and has been submerged for fifty-five years. I think it\'d be interesting to know where exactly Johnnie and his wife were living at the time he vanished. I think sometimes these killers confess to killings because they want the attention. It can be pretty lonely in prison. This monster was created and cultivated from childhood. You are correct about sometimes people confess to crimes they didn\'t commit, for the notority that comes with high profile cases. There have been instances where police and FBI have had to sift through hundreds of false claims of commiting a murder. Sometimes it\'s people who are mentally ill, other times it\'s people who just want to stir the pot so to speak. It does make it much harder for agencies to get to the actual truth. Yet again a case of the most dangerous time for a woman is when she lays down boundaries and leaves an abusive relationship. I know there are agencies out there to help women but the word needs to get out to these women when you leave is when it is most dangerous for you. Protect yourself. Unfortunately what the \'norm\' if you will call it that is murder suicide in a broken romantic relationship. This went far beyond that with him taking out more people than his ex and himself.
