On a late summer day in 1988, a young man named Shawn Gordon Davis, at the age of 22, was with others on Kalgin Island, a remote location in Alaska's Cook Inlet. On September 19th, the group was in a boat on Packers Creek Lake. An unexpected and tragic event occurred when Shawn fell from the boat into the cold waters of the lake. He was last seen wearing chest waders, a sheepskin and denim Levi's jacket, and a camouflage raincoat.
