On October 11, 2002, 44-year-old Patrick DeMichele, a resident of Seward, Alaska, disappeared under perplexing circumstances in the turbulent waters of the Gulf of Alaska. DeMichele, along with 31-year-old Mark Thibault of Nashua, New Hampshire, was aboard the 48-foot fishing vessel, the 'Shenandoah'.
