Joseph J. Leblanc, Jr., a 60-year-old male associated with Juneau, Alaska, was last seen on July 3, 1997, during a sightseeing flight through the rugged coastal landscape of Southeast Alaska. Although his NamUs missing-person record lists Juneau as the place from which he disappeared, the event that led to his disappearance occurred near Skagway, approximately 85 miles north of Juneau.
