Olen Seth Nash was a 20-year-old White male from Southeast Alaska who was last seen on November 12, 1999, after the fishing vessel Becca Dawn sank in the Gulf of Alaska. Although his missing-person record is associated with Juneau, the disaster occurred far offshore in the Fairweather fishing grounds west of Yakutat. Olen, who was also known as Olin, was working aboard the steel-hulled longline halibut vessel with three other crew members when they encountered a violent winter storm. The remote ...
