Zion Davis-Shelton, an 18-year-old Black/African American male, was killed on the night of October 24, 2021, in Wilmington, Delaware. Public reporting identified him as being from New Castle, while the shooting itself happened in Wilmington, on the unit block of West 27th Street, at about 8 p.m. Police and news accounts described him as the victim of a fatal shooting, with officers finding him wounded and emergency responders getting him to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.
