Antwine Potts, a 47-year-old Black male, was shot on the night of May 6, 2023, in Wilmington, Delaware, in what police described as a double shooting on the 1800 block of West 3rd Street. The night was already late when Wilmington police were called to the area shortly after 9:30 p.m., arriving to find Potts suffering from gunshot wounds. He was still alive when officers located him, and he was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, but he later died from his injuries.
