In the early morning hours of New Year's Eve in 2015, the life of a young Black man, Denzel Collins, was tragically cut short in Philadelphia. The 21-year-old was found by police on the 2500 block of West Clearfield Street after they responded to a call just after 12:20 a.m. in the 3100 block of North 25th Street. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
