Rosa Elia Santos Arellano, a 21-year-old Hispanic woman, tragically lost her life on April 16, 1968, in Edwards County, Texas, near Sonora. Rosa, along with her family, was traveling from Mexico to San Angelo, Texas, to visit relatives when their car broke down. This unfortunate event led to a series of brutal murders that remain unsolved to this day.
