In the summer of 2017, a young man's life was tragically cut short in what was described as a senseless act of recklessness. John William Roberts III, a 21-year-old male, was at a friend's house in the Lincoln Place neighborhood of Pittsburgh on the evening of July 22nd. He was in the basement with his friend, 21-year-old Jakeub Nace, when a playful moment turned fatal.
