Daniel A. Carpenter, a 42-year-old Black / African American male from Pittsburgh, was caught in the middle of violence on the afternoon of March 17, 2019, in the city�s Larimer neighborhood. Police were called to the area of Shetland Street and Victor Way after reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found Carpenter inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck.
