In the spring of 2015, a young mother and her infant son vanished, leaving behind a trail of perplexing questions and a family desperate for answers. The story of their disappearance begins in Columbus, Ohio, where Brittany Ford and her then eight-month-old son, Deklon, were last seen. The two had been staying with Brittany's brother after a tumultuous period in her life. Inside the car were Brittany's personal belongings, her medication, and Deklon's car seat, but there was no sign of the mother and child. The discovery of the abandoned vehicle marked a chilling turning point in the case, transforming it from a missing persons report into a deeply concerning mystery. Despite the passage of time, the whereabouts of Deklon Ford and his mother, Brittany, remain unknown. Law enforcement agencies, including the Columbus Police Department, have investigated their disappearance, and their case has been shared by organizations dedicated to finding missing persons. Deklon is described as being of biracial descent, Black and White, with brown hair and brown eyes.
