John Timmons, a 30-year-old man, was tragically shot to death on June 3, 2019, in the Fifth City neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. He was found unresponsive in the street with a gunshot wound to the back of his head around 3:06 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Congress Parkway. The Chicago police and Cook County medical examiner�s office confirmed his death at the scene. An autopsy was pending at the time, and Area North detectives were actively investigating the case.
