Kimon Wheeler, age 15, was shot and killed on June 17, 2015, in the North Lawndale neighborhood on Chicago�s West Side. The incident took place when three juvenile suspects approached Kimon, who was with a group of friends. They attempted to rob the group, and when Kimon tried to flee, he was shot in the back. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition but was later pronounced dead.
