Enrique Romero, a 39-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on July 24, 2014, near West 151st Street and South Maie Avenue in Compton, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner�s records, sheriff�s deputies were in the vicinity of West Compton Boulevard and North Dwight Avenue when they heard gunshots coming from a nearby neighborhood.
