Eduardo Lopez, a 35-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on August 13, 2015, in Compton, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner�s records, Lopez was walking near Alameda and East Pine streets around 2:50 a.m. when a black pickup truck approached him. A person exited the vehicle and opened fire, striking Lopez. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff�s Department found Lopez lying near the railroad tracks. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at 3:25 a.m.
