On a spring day in May of 1991, a 56-year-old man named Arans Enrique Serramia was working in the Alaskan waters near Haines. He was aboard the fishing vessel Prinsengracht in the Lynn Canal, a major inlet in the southeastern part of the state. On May 16th, in a sudden and tragic turn of events, Mr. Serramia fell from the vessel into the frigid waters near the Katzhein River. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing white overalls and a yellow jacket.
