On May 25, 1991, Edward Erich Herzog, a 46-year-old male, vanished in the vicinity of Kodiak, Alaska. His disappearance is linked to an aircraft accident that occurred in the waters near Larsen Bay. At the time of the incident, weather conditions were reported to be challenging, with a low, obscured ceiling of 100 feet, visibility of only one mile, and dense fog.
