In the spring of 1992, the vast and rugged landscape of Alaska bore witness to a quiet tragedy that would leave a lasting mark on the community of Kodiak. It was on April 19th of that year that 33-year-old Emanual Charliaga, an American Indian / Alaska Native man, was last seen.
