On a late spring day, June 24, 1998, 21-year-old Michael Jeffry Furin was aboard the motor vessel, Tustemena, in the vicinity of Kodiak, Alaska, when he was last seen. At the time of his disappearance, he was described as a White male, standing at 5'9' and weighing approximately 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
