On October 3, 1997, 67-year-old Glenn Marshall Wade, a male resident of Soldotna, Alaska, disappeared in a case that continues to baffle investigators. An experienced pilot, Wade was last seen before he took off in his blue PA-22 floatplane, registered as N8995D. The purpose of his flight and his intended destination remain unknown.
