On a winter day, December 27, 2000, 63-year-old Edgar Francis Burch, a male resident of Juneau, Alaska, disappeared and would not return. He was on a training flight that departed from Juneau with an intended destination of Young Bay. Accompanying him on this flight was 51-year-old Stephen Duane Zeckser, also of Juneau. The two men and the aircraft they were in vanished, leaving behind an enduring mystery for their families and the community.
