In the early autumn of 2018, concerns began to grow for the well-being of 52-year-old Reginald Dekeith Mims in Columbus, Georgia. A family member grew worried after not hearing from him for approximately a week, which was out of character. This lack of communication prompted the family to report him missing to the Columbus Police Department on October 1, 2018.
