In the fall of 2021, the community of Meigs, Georgia, was faced with the unsettling disappearance of Greg Dewayne Hurst. The circumstances surrounding his last known moments are particularly distressing. In October 2021, Greg was released from the county jail and given a ride to his home. Shortly after his arrival, he was reportedly seen running into a wooded area nearby. Since that sighting, there has been no communication from him, and his whereabouts remain unknown.
