In the late spring of 2005, a young woman's journey toward a new beginning took a devastating and mysterious turn. On May 27, 2005, 26-year-old Christina Crespo, known to her loved ones as Christi, was last seen in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She disappeared from the vicinity of the 3100 block of North 6th Street, leaving behind a life and a family who continue to await answers. Christina was a woman of Hispanic and Caucasian descent with blonde hair and green eyes, and her sudden vanishing marked the start of a prolonged and painful mystery for her community. The day Christina Crespo was last seen, she was reportedly leaving her home with the intention of checking herself into a drug rehabilitation program.
