On a winter afternoon, February 21, 1983, a 16-year-old boy named Bryan Keith Fisher walked out of his family's home in Erie, Pennsylvania, with the intention of going fishing. It was the last time his family would ever see him. At the time of his disappearance, Bryan was described as a white male with brown hair and hazel eyes, standing 5'9" and weighing around 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, sneakers, and a wide, studded leather belt. Since that day, no one has reported hearing from or seeing Bryan again. Bryan had several distinct features that his family hoped would help identify him. He had a noticeable scar on his right hand, located between his ring and middle fingers. He also had two tattoos: a cross on his right arm and a skull on his upper left arm, which his family believes he may have later covered with a tattoo of a rose. Bryan, who was known by the nicknames Bry and Fish, had a few favorite spots around Erie where he liked to spend his time. His preferred place to fish was along the South Pier, and he was also known to hang out near the old grain elevators on the bayfront or at the arcade on State Street. For decades, the disappearance of Bryan Fisher has remained a painful, unanswered question for his loved ones. The Erie Police Department has investigated the case, but it remains unsolved. Bryan's parents passed away without ever learning what happened to their son, but his six siblings have continued the search for answers. The case is a haunting one: a young man who vanished on a seemingly ordinary day after leaving his home to enjoy a simple pastime. The lack of any evidence or contact has left a void in the lives of his family, who continue to hope for a resolution after so many years of uncertainty.
