In the winter of 1994, a 50-year-old man named William Robinson, also known to friends and family as "Worm" or "Willie," vanished from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The last confirmed sighting of him was on February 25, 1994, when he was leaving his parents' home in the West Oak Lane neighborhood of the city. He was reportedly on his way back to a room he rented on North 23rd Street, near West Venango Street. From that point on, no one in his circle reported hearing from him again. At the time of his disappearance, William was described as a Black / African American male, standing at 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds. He had brown, wavy hair and brown eyes. William had several distinguishing physical characteristics that would make him easily identifiable. He had a scar on his lip. More notably, due to a past case of frostbite, he was missing the tips of three fingers on his right hand and the tips of two fingers on his left hand.
