Brenda Nell Dearing, a 51-year-old woman from Pennsylvania, was visiting relatives in Alabama during the winter of 2004. On December 15th of that year, she was seen walking close to her daughter's home in the Grand Bay area, specifically in the vicinity of the 7000 block of Crandall Road, not far from the Mississippi state line.
