In March 2016, a then 34-year-old mother named April Michelle Russell vanished from Mobile, Alabama, leaving behind a life that, according to her family, was not without its struggles, but also one where she maintained regular contact with her loved ones. Russell was last seen on March 15, 2016, at the Beverly Motel located off Government Boulevard. Witnesses reported seeing her getting into an older model Jeep Wrangler at the motel.
