In the autumn of 2008, a 14-year-old girl named Gabriella Gordillo Hidalgo vanished from her home in Louisville, Kentucky. The last known contact with Gabriella was on November 10th of that year. When her family discovered she was gone, they also found a note she had left behind. In the note, Gabriella wrote that she was running away to Mexico with her boyfriend.
