Joshua Scott Adams was a 25-year-old man from Jefferson, Georgia, whose life took a troubling turn in the spring of 2013. Just two weeks prior to his disappearance, he had returned home after completing a six-week drug rehabilitation program in Battle Creek, Michigan. His family has indicated he had a history of drug abuse, including prescription drugs and cocaine.
