In the autumn of 2014, a 30-year-old man from East Los Angeles named Steven Reynoso traveled to New York City for a vacation with his girlfriend. The couple was staying at the Renaissance Hotel in Times Square when on the evening of November 25th, Reynoso informed his girlfriend that he was going to meet up with some friends.
