William 'Al' Hamilton was a 46-year-old manager of the Discotheque, a downtown dance club in Augusta, Georgia. His life took a tragic turn in the early morning hours of August 15, 1998, after he left his job for the night. He was last seen driving his 1987 Ford Tempo. Concerns for his welfare grew when he failed to arrive in Sardis to pick up his girlfriend as planned.
