In the late winter of 2024, the life of Gerald 'Scott' Weathers, a 62-year-old man from Augusta, Georgia, took a sudden and unexplained turn. In the early morning hours of February 27th, at approximately 1:00 AM, Scott sent a text message to his significant other, assuring her he would be home shortly.
