On November 15, 2018, 30-year-old Travis Fanning was last seen in Hazle Township, Pennsylvania. That day, he had left his residence on North James Street with his father around noon. His father dropped him off at the Groceries Plus store located at 1003 Vine Street. This was the last time he was seen by his father. Later that afternoon, just after 1:30 p.m., Travis was captured on surveillance footage inside the Fine Wine & Spirits store on Church Street. An acquaintance reported seeing him the following day, November 16, at around 10:30 p.m. at the 15th Street Beer Barn at 802 W. 15th Street in Hazleton. Travis, who is diagnosed with schizophrenia, may become easily agitated. At the time of his disappearance, Travis was described as a white male, standing at approximately 5'10" to 6'2" tall and weighing around 170 pounds. He has blond or sandy-colored hair, which he wore short, and brown or hazel eyes. He also had a beard and mustache. When he was last seen, Travis was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt with a maroon or dark red hood, blue jeans, and tan boots. He was also carrying a black backpack. The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating Travis's disappearance. His case is listed as an endangered missing person due to his medical condition. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear, and his family and law enforcement are seeking answers. His case is an active missing person investigation, and there is concern for his well-being. The lack of contact since November 2018 is uncharacteristic, and the passage of time has only deepened the mystery surrounding what happened to him after he was last sighted. The overview of the case is a young man with a known medical condition vanishing after a series of seemingly routine errands, with the last confirmed sighting being at a state liquor store, followed by a potential, but unconfirmed, sighting by an acquaintance the next day.
