ON 11/12/1996 a hunter discovered a cranium near Sebasco Creek on the Sebasco Estates in Phippsburg. A forensic anthropology examination was conducted and revealed the cranium belonged to someone likely aged 18-30, female, probably Caucasoid, and having died between 20 years and 18 months prior to being found. A subsequent canine search of the area did not reveal any other remains.
