Human skeletal remains were found on 03/31/1986 between hay bales on a farm site in Winneshiek County, Iowa. Examination of the skeletonized remains showed that they were those of a white male, 33-36 years of age, 5'6" to 5'9" in height, and weighed between 145 - 160 lbs. The decedent had brown hair and a medium build. The individual may have been traveling from Ohio to California. It is estimated that the decedent may have died in April of the year 1985.
