On October 6, 2014, the body of Thomas Kapustka, a 78-year-old male, was found in Puyallup, Washington. Identified with the Namus ID UCP5412, Kapustka's body was discovered after he passed away from natural causes at Good Samaritan Hospital. The surrounding circumstances of his life left him unclaimed, as his family was unable to take responsibility for his remains. This led to the involvement of local authorities and eventual arrangements for his posthumous care.
