On November 23, 2025, Shareef Mohamed, also known as Noorie Barka, was found unresponsive in his Van Nuys, California apartment. A friend, concerned for his well-being, initiated a welfare check, during which they discovered Mohamed's lifeless body. Emergency services were promptly contacted, and upon arrival, paramedics pronounced him deceased. The circumstances surrounding his passing were attributed to natural causes.
