Over a 20-year period, Res�ndiz was deported or voluntarily returned to Mexico 17 times, using various aliases to evade authorities.

- Noemi Dominguez, Houston, Texas, June 4, 1999 - Beaten to death with a pickaxe.
- Josephine Konvicka, Fayette County, Texas, June 4, 1999 - Killed with a pickaxe in her home.
- George Morber Sr. and Carolyn Frederick, Gorham, Illinois, June 15, 1999 - Shot and bludgeoned to death.
