In the early morning hours of August 24, 2022, the life of 35-year-old LaShelle Teasley was tragically cut short on the near east side of Indianapolis. Responding to a report of a person shot on North Tuxedo Street around 6:30 a.m., police officers arrived to a grim scene. They discovered LaShelle lying in the middle of the street, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
