In the late hours of a July evening in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the life of 37-year-old Shavonne M. McKee was tragically cut short. On July 3, 2016, at approximately 11:20 p.m., police responded to a 9-1-1 call about a shooting on the 400 block of North Virginia Avenue. Upon their arrival, they found McKee suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical responders rushed her to the AtlantiCare Medical Center�City Division, but she was pronounced dead just before midnight.
