Christopher A. Reed, a 36-year-old Black male, was shot and killed on the morning of December 12, 2020, on Milwaukee�s northwest side after an argument turned violent near the 5400 block of North 92nd Street by Custer Avenue. First responders and the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner�s Office were called just before 10:30 a.m.; Reed suffered fatal gunshot wounds at the scene. His death that day is reflected in public remembrances and victim registries that mark his passing in Milwaukee.
