On May 30, 2006, 46-year-old Edith Anne "Anne" Overman-Moore was tragically killed in Omaha, Nebraska. Her death was the result of gun violence, and she was discovered in the basement bathroom of a home, wrapped in a plastic sheet. An autopsy later confirmed that she had died from gunshot wounds.
