In the early morning hours of a Tuesday in Douglas, Georgia, a domestic argument tragically escalated, leaving a father dead and his son facing murder charges. Just before 2:00 a.m. on December 10, 2024, authorities were called to a residence in the 100 block of Park Place Road, where they discovered 45-year-old Israel Rivera Cruz, a Hispanic male, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. His wife, 31-year-old Jasmine Gonzalez, was also found at the scene with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
