On December 11, 2023, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Laredo Police Department (LPD) officers responded to reports of gunfire near Arcadia Loop and Lowry Road in north Laredo. Upon arrival, they discovered 19-year-old Jos� Roberto Obreg�n Jr. suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Obreg�n was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
