On May 26, 2024, 80-year-old Heidi Silkworth was fatally struck by a stray bullet in San Antonio, Texas. Silkworth, a resident of Euless, Texas, was in town to attend a relative's high school graduation ceremony at the Alamodome. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. near the 600 block of East C�sar E. Ch�vez Boulevard as she was leaving the event. Silkworth was a passenger in a vehicle when she was hit in the head by a bullet resulting from a nearby shootout.
