On June 8, 2024, at approximately 10:04 p.m., Riverside County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a gunshot victim in the 25000 block of Highway 74, located in the Good Hope community near Perris, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 56-year-old Kimberly Sue Dunlap suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
